With Connecting Castles, we aim to visit remarkable places in European history. Our primary focus is on properties with an illustrious past that are being repurposed and given a new future by their current owners. We will take a closer look at what motivates these owners and the challenges they must overcome. Connecting Castles promises a relaxing day trip along scenic routes in the provinces of Flemish and Walloon Brabant, with a fascinating visit to the Castle of Rixensart. At the castle, we will be welcomed by the de Merode family, and the Duke of Arenberg will also be present. We will conclude with dinner at the Brasserie de Abdijmolen in Leuven.
