Exhibition - Eine Klasse für sich. Adel an Rhein und Ruhr

Between gold and glass: The special exhibition "A class of its own" presents for the first time an overview of the entire history of nobility on the Rhine and Ruhr from the early Middle Ages to the present day. Until July 31, 2022, the Ruhr Museum is presenting magnificent cultural treasures, some of which have never been exhibited before, in a spectacular "glass palace" on the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the mine "Zollverein".

16th Arenberg-Coimbra Group Prize Award, Padova

The next General Assembly of the Coimbra Group will take place at the beautiful premises of our member The University of Padova (Italy) from 7-10 June 2022. The event forms part of a larger programme of celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the university. The Award ceremony of the Arenberg-Coimbra Group Prize will be held during the Gala Dinner to be held on Thursday 9 June in the evening at the renown Caffe Pedrocchi located just in front of the university headquarters.

Book presentation: Le goût de la bibliophilie nationale

Book presentation on Tuesday, the 14th of June at 5 pm, KBR Bruxelles. In this volume, Mrs. Elly Cockx and Professor Pierre Delsaerdt present the results of their research on the famous Special Collection of Duke Engelbert-Auguste d'Arenberg (1824-1875). This important library was located in Brussels, close to the Egmont Palace, where the Arenberg family already had an important study and reading library.
