Via Arenberga – International Arenberg Weekend
back to the overview
A unique European heritage event
The Arenberg Foundation, together with the City of Enghien and the Cercle Archéologique d’Enghien, is organising this first international Arenberg Weekend: Via Arenberga.
During this unique event, towns, municipalities, and castles from ten European countries that today or in the past had a link with the Arenberg family will come together. More than thirty delegations have already confirmed their participation – ranging from mayors and aldermen to castle owners, researchers, and heritage associations.
The aim? To create a sustainable European network focusing on heritage, culture, and slow tourism. From this network, we also want to develop a joint travel guide: “The Arenberg Route”, connecting the many Arenberg heritage sites for future visitors.
